    •  3,400 people 2,915 are men and 412 are women
    • 1,501 are Hispanic/Latino, 1,258 are white, and 213 are black

  • MSM is the largest group of people living with HIV in New Mexico. This number is followed by High Risk Heterosexuals.

  • 49% of American families do not talk about HIV
  • 56% of Americans never talk about HIV with their new intimate partners
  • 43% of Americans have never been tested for HIV
