The New Mexico GLBTQQI community is active and growing. Search the directory for information about businesses and organizations located throughout the state. Albuquerque and Santa Fe have the largest queer communities but events are also held in smaller communities such as Las Cruces, Farmington, Gallup, and Silver City. In June, Albuquerque Pride is held on the 2nd Saturday, Las Cruces on the 3rd Saturday and Santa Fe on the 4th Saturday making a month of Pride.

New Mexico is the only state that has both Hate Crimes and Human Rights legislation that includes sexual orientation and gender identity. New Mexicans are accepting of diversity but being aware of your environment and taking appropriate precautions after a day at Pride are advised.
